Susie Chmielowiec is a Houstonian through and through. She is the life and soul of Chmielowiec & Associates. As the owner and operator of her own business for over 21 years, she prides herself on winning the tough cases. When starting her firm, she won back-to-back Pro Bono Awards. She is a member of the Pro Bono College, State Bar of Texas, American Association for the Advancement of Science, Sigma Xi- Scientific Research Honor Society, and Garland Walker Inns of Court. Attorney Krystin Collins is a native of Houston, Texas. She is a graduate of Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law and has been a licensed attorney since 2009. She is a member of Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association and her primary practice areas include personal injury, criminal defense, civil litigation, and family law. She is also the secretary of The Wolf Pack Riding Club, a trail riding club, and contributes articles to the African-American Newspaper every week to help people to better understand the law. Jessica Horace Horace
Attorney Horace is a native of Lufkin, Texas. While attending South Texas College of Law Jessica clerked for the 312th Family District Court. Jessica has been admitted to the Texas State Bar since 2011 and is currently a member of the Houston Bar Association, Fort Bend County Bar Association, and the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. She is also a proud member of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.
Jessica has always been passionate about social injustices and she knows that each
client deserves someone that will fight for them. Her main focus is family and criminal law. In
her spare time she enjoys speaking to the youth and encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle.
Estrellita Ventura received her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Houston. During her time as a student she became interested in law and obtained her Paralegal Certificate in 2012. She has been working with Chmielowiec & Associates since 2013, and currently works as a Paralegal. Estrellita assists in all aspects of organization and case management including drafting documents, file pleadings, research, assisting attorneys in preparing for court, and communicating with clients. The variety and complexity of the work keeps her engaged and attentive. Outside of legal work, Estrellita enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Some of her interests include reading and travelling.
Marquis grew up in Nacogdoches, Texas. His successes in high school led him to study psychology and sociology at Stephen F. Austin University. In his professional life, he is known for his excellent work ethic and his unwavering integrity. He is a jack of all trades around the office and can gracefully handle all sorts of challenges thrown his way. As a 4 year employee of Chmielowiec and Associates Law firm, he has truly become a pillar for the team that everyone can rely on. His clients describe him as compassionate and responsive.
